The Oldest and the Youngest

There is something special about seeing the Oldest and the Youngest together in the family.

She is the firstborn of two, and he is the youngest of four. There are 71 years between them. Not many get to spend time with their great-grandma. I am grateful she is here to spend it with her 4 great-grands.

Odd thought

On Sunday morning, I got to the church and noticed some material in the parking lot by the hoop. It was broken brick. I kicked the bigger pieces off of the concrete and went about my business.

As I was pulling out of the parking lot I saw a large piece and had a flash, like a vision of someone throwing it through a window. I kept driving, got to the entrance of the parking lot, and saw it again.

So I pulled back around and put it in my car. Not on my watch!

Dream

Recently I had a dream about a woman visiting a man’s house, but she wasn’t there for a good reason. As she visited, people came there- men, women, and children- but she noticed they shone or sparkled like they had diamonds or Jewels embedded in their skin. The more they spoke of Jesus and did the things he commanded, the more they would sparkle and shine. The woman stirred up trouble a bit; she was darker than the others they kept warning her there wasn’t much time to get right with the Lord. Then one day a cart, or a kind of car, came, and these really shiny people took her and put her in the cart. As she was traveling, she realized what was happening. She became afraid and began to be sorry for her actions, and she repented of going to the man’s house to cause trouble. Just then, a tiny sparkle showed up on her hand along the way the cart stopped, and someone needed help; she helped, and another tiny sparkle showed up. The more she repented and chose to do what was right the more sparkly she became.

And to my surprise I found this:

The Lord their God will save his people on that day as a shepherd saves his flock. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.

Zechariah 9:16
