Psalm 135:15-18 The idols of the nations are silver and gold,
The work of men’s hands.
16 They have mouths, but they do not speak;
Eyes they have, but they do not see;
17 They have ears, but they do not hear;
Nor is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Those who make them are like them;
So is everyone who trusts in them.
“If they cannot even see us, how can they know our wants, appreciate our sacrifices, or spy out for us the means of help? What a wretched thing, that a man who can see should bow down before an image which is blind!”Spurgeon
Father, I bless your name. You are the God who deserves all praise. I will worship you! The One who sent His Son to walk among us. The One who came to tabernacle with us. You have made us your temple and resting place. Lord, forgive us for laying down our lives for lesser things. Forgive us for thinking inanimate objects could bring us joy or cause us to rejoice. For you are life itself. You are the God who works all things for good to those who love you. I declare then, “I Love You, Lord!” I lift my voice to worship you. I lift my hands and heart to you. There is no one like you God. You speak truth to my heart. You hear my cries. You see my need. You breath life into my bones and answer my calls for help. There is no one like you God! I will not bow to any other. Idols are worthless, You alone are worthy. Let me see, hear, and speak like you. Make me holy, as You are Holy! I worship You! I worship You! I worship You!
Thanks for praying and listening,
