God created this great vast world and little ol’ me

The world with seeming greatness

I with seeming insignificance …well at least from time to time from my perspective.

and yet each line and turn He drew with intention.

Advent … to see the coming of Christ the Christmas season

What in this whole world causes you to pause with wonder?

What does it mean to you that you where made out of the overflow of God’s love?

Think of three who at times are not easy to love. What would it look like if you did?

A poem

I stop and awe at the flight of birds

their wings spread catching the wind

I marvel at how they stay together

flying in patterned arrows

God in His infinite wisdom created them amazing

God in His infinite love created me

His overflowing heart pouring out to put my every line together

coloring me with His own characteristics

made to shine and show His glory

And He asks me to love others when they are unlovely

not ugly or repelling

but absent of walking in the faith walk of love

a daily tripping and spinning

anger, worry, doubt, joyless – un- love- ly

today Ann ask of me 3 …three in need of faith love

the gruff hard working hands man with my ring

the easily agitated to a stir friend of my heart

the long winded sweetheart I’m just getting to know

These I chose to love….. These His love will I give in overflow

I see the first has a heart to serve

I see second has a desire to see God move and submit

I see the third has a huge kind heart

May God teach me to keep walking deeper deeper in love toward them

Perhaps as with the birds of the sky flying together is how we are to fly

in the pattern of the Lord – together in a synchronized dance

like an arrow …. shot straight through the heart of our fellow man
