Enjoy the process…

TRUST is like a wave of knowing that washes over you, telling you that you are safe here.

If the knowing is absent….what do you do?

Do you continue on, creating your own TRUST into each step through your words, your ways, your thoughts???

Or do you recoil and retreat and begin to fear the space you are in, the people who are near??

Life certainly is a journey and it seems that every step is either building upon or digging deeper.

It is easy to get caught in the appearance of what SEEMS to be…expecially when we are in the process of DIGGING in a hole that had a weed growing once and it has been pulled and now the Lord is after more of that root that broke off.

The mind swirling all about saying:  I can’t believe I am dealing with this again!!   or There must be something wrong with me.

Depression sits on the edge of the pool just hoping you will go under…..

all the while as we flail about Jesus is in the water holding us up!

We only think we are going under because we are splashing about and furiously treading water but if we would just relax in His arms and float like little kids do in their parents arms on the water…we would find we can see, and breathe, and rest.

We could enjoy the process….when we TRUST Him!

Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

  1. Once again, Amen! I’m glad I’m not the only one who asks “why am I dealing with this again!” I love the idea of relaxing in God’s arms 🙂 its the only way to go.
