Here’s to Jumping…

Sometimes the simplest things are the toughest because of over thinking….

We can get ourselves in such a mess, lost in the mind and feeling like we are searching for an answer when often that answer is right in front of your face.

Simple things that seem so tough:

Telling someone how you really feel…

Speaking the truth when you are feeling afraid…

Running to God for answers when the computer is full of info…

Praying about your sadness when all you want to do is ignore the issue…

Cleaning the house when your hearing within yourself  “I JUST WANT TO PLAY!”

I am slowing (LOL) coming to the conclusion the I need to use the Flylady principle all over in my life : You are not behind, Just jump in where you are!

I don’t know about you but when I get into a trial of testing my flesh seems to magnify my weakness to the point that I feel like I am going to drowned in my failure. This principle of  “You are not behind, Just jump in where you are!” lets me know that I am simply on the road that the Lord has placed me on. I am not sliding backwards no matter what I may feel. I may be spinning my wheels but I am not loosing my way. God has me. So I need to listen to Him and put myself to the task one step at a time, even if slowly. Here’s to jumping  in where I am…

Even if I am not sure how my feet will land I can deal with that when I get there…

Going for an “E” for EFFORT!

  1. I think this is pretty universal for women, as far as our flesh magnifying our weaknesses. At least, that’s what happens within me. You’re right, we just have to KNOW that we KNOW that it’s ok, we’re ok….and just jump in! 🙂

    Here’s to jumping in!
