Something I heard:
Be careful who you allow to speak over you…the pray over you…to speak prophesy over you.
Why? Because of Impartation.
16 The Lord answered Moses, “Bring Me 70 men from Israel known to you as elders and officers of the people. Take them to the tent of meeting and have them stand there with you. 17 Then I will come down and speak with you there. I will take some of the Spirit who is on you and put the Spirit on them. They will help you bear the burden of the people, so that you do not have to bear it by yourself.
Numbers 11:16-17
There is and can be a transfer – we receive from those we learn from and sit under.
13 He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. 14 Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?” And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over. 15 Now when the sons of the prophets who were from Jericho saw him, they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” And they came to meet him, and bowed to the ground before him.
2 Kings 2:13-15
Paul asked of the Galatians people
O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?
Galatians 3:1
They had been bewitched. This word means cast a spell on; enchant, subject to sorcery. Someone spoke and led them astray…
Adore & Give Thanks – Day 3

- Good car conversations with a friend
- The beauty of fall
- I have a Heavenly Father who loves me

In reading the surrounding context, God’s people, Jerusalen had become an oppressive city. They did not obey His voice, receive His correction, trust in the Lord, or draw near to their God. He had been righteous – bringing justice to light. But they would not turn. He was determined for them to fear Him, to see Him for who He is and they just became all the more corrupted. They refused Him.
How sad it is when people who are called by His name refuse their God?
The Lord then was determined to leave a remnant of people who are meek and humble, who trust in the Lord. It says, “IN THAT DAY” which is a prophetic call to when Christ returns and reigns fully in His kingdom. He will be in our midst. He will save us – The Mighty One!
This will happen in that day, but He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
This is the kind of speaking over…praying over… prophesying over we all need.
He will rejoice over us with gladness and singing. He will quiet us with His love.
Lord, come speak peace and quiet our souls. Amen.
