Psalm 117:1-2 Praise the Lord, all you nations;
    extol him, all you peoples.
² For great is his love toward us,
    and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

Praise the Lord.

These two verses are the entire psalm. They share these simple truths:

1. Great is His love toward us
2. His faithfulness endures forever

This is why He deserves praise. He loves us greatly and that doesn’t end.

Father, your love for us continues and endures forever because you are faithful. What more could we need or want? Lord I praise you and I lift my voice. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for dealing with my sin and bringing me into relationship with you. Thank you for setting me in a body of people who love me and stick with me even when I am bring ridiculous. Your love endures forever. I pray for the lost and the lonely today that they too would know this love that you have for them.
