Having good friends is important. In hard and difficult times they can be a place of comfort and encouragement. Be careful of how much stock you put in a friend for support and help though. Humans are still humans and their limited power wont help against a hard enemy. Hopefully they are praying friends because a prayer filled friend who trusts in the Lord for help on your behalf is of greater value than having a whole troop of friends.
Psalm 108:12-13 Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.

Father, my heart is steadfast to praise you. Great is your love, it is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches the to the skies. I exalt you, O God, let your glory be over all the earth. Save us God. Help us with your right hand. I pray for my friends today. For the one who is struggling at home and worried about her kids. For the one who tries and tries but still doesn’t feel that she is doing a great job. For the one who is embarking on a new journey. For the one who wonders if her body will turn against her again. For the one looking for love and still missing you. For the one who is little in stature but a mighty lion in spirit. I pray for these Lord and I ask for your presence to go before them. Lord, draw them to your side with your goodness. Show them who you are and how you are working in them and through them. Deliver them with your love. I confess my limited ability, Lord, you can surely get them to where you desire. So, I hold them in the light of your presence today. I pray that you lead them, tend them, and give them your grace. Give them the victory over the enemy and give them aid.
Pray for a friend today!
