I want to share with my readers what I enjoy and what I love. But not just that. I want to share with you good quotes, good books, and good soul food. I love to learn but I love sharing the goodness maybe even a little more.

• Something I’m Excited About: My Mom, my sister, and I are getting ready to go on a girls trip! My sister bought these T-shirts the other day: THE MOUNTAINS ARE CALLING AND I MUST GO! I love the mountains everything from the way it smells, the air so clear, the sky so close, the stars at night. I’m ready for the adventure.

• The book I am currently reading: It is called “Taste and See:
  Discovering God among Butchers, Bakers, and Fresh Food Makers” By Margaret Feinberg. I love the way she writes.

• Thought rolling around in my mind:

How do we keep a balanced thought process about people who do things that are upsetting? How do we savor the joy that they bring, when they also do things that are hurtful? It can be hard to hang on to the joy and not allow the negative to creep in and turn you against them. It all seems to start in the heart and we must be careful who we talk too because some people are quick to flush people down the drain. We have to remember that none of us is perfect. If we are focusing on the negative this does not give you the true picture or the full truth. It’s just the negative side. Nor if we are focusing on the positive, it does not give you the true picture or the full truth either. It’s just the positive side. The truth is God is at work and He is working all things for good. He is using the good, the bad, and the ugly. We must become growth-minded not just all about my self-minded. That means we must keep our own heart in check far more than we check another’s heart. God is at work. So the question becomes: Do we trust Him? If we don’t we often just try to control others to get what we want. If you do then we will see a beautifully flawed person that is just like you and just like me. I have to choose love over judgment. Because judgment always brings judged in return.
