Day 2 – He is still the same
Genisis 3:8-9 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the LordGod called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?”
God is still the same as He was in the Garden. He is still asking us the same question today that He asked Adam and Eve, “where are you?” I don’t think that He is asking us to come out of our hiding places physically like Adam and Even hiding behind trees.
I imagine He is really asking, “Where are you? What is so alive in you that it has become so big in your eyes to make Me look small?”
Have you ever been there? I have. I have been in a room full of people and in rooms with no one else, but my mind and heart were so full of anxiety and fear that I couldn’t think straight. Here’s the thing about being a “why?” girl. It can be liberating or debilitating. Finding the why behind what is happening in my life has been one of the keys that have helped me to understand the rat’s nest in my heart and allowed me to examine them and unwind them. It has also caused me to be stuck in analysis paralysis.
So how do I know the difference?
JESUS! As I am walking through the halls of my heart if my focus is to find an end to my fear instead of walking with Jesus through that fear then I am just playing games. Most likely I am blaming others or God for my fear and anxiety and I am looking for a quick mental fix because I got things to do and places to go.

It is only when I slow down to be with Jesus that the fears subside as He walks into the room and shows me that He is greater than all those things.
Prayer:
Jesus thank you that there really is nothing bigger than You! Your great love took care of it all on the cross. Help me to slow down and remember that love never fails.
Are you afraid today? Worried that you have messed up too bad to be forgiven? Are you hiding from God? Turn to Him. He is already there. While you have been focused on the problem, He is whispering the solution. His love.
Thanks for Listening,
