I don’t think we realize the dark we live in

Our whole lives evolve around ourselves

What we will do today…

Who we will spend time with today…

Where we will go today…

When we will do what we do today…

Why we will do what we do…

How we will do what we do…

live can become all ME consuming

and that is exactly why He came!

To turn my eyes from little ol’ me

living in little me-ville

in a dark and empty existence

that doesn’t go far past my own nose

to bring a dawning a light experience of GOD

to be able to see beyond myself

to see HIM in all His glory

and to see them…all my brothers and sisters

In every crevasse and crack

I am in need of Him

to light me and dawn upon my life

not because I am without Him

or dry and crusted over

but because I know that without His daily touch

I am dim

I am dark

I am lacking

Hope in Him is all we have ….all I have.

Light in me God

renew my life and heart

breath fresh in me

dawn upon my darkness

and light the way

Let me be a light in this world for you

so that You shine for others through me
