1 Corinthians 10: 1-5 Remember our history, friends, and be warned. All our ancestors were led by the providential Cloud and taken miraculously through the Sea. They went through the waters, in a baptism like ours, as Moses led them from enslaving death to salvation life. They all ate and drank identical food and drink, meals provided daily by God. They drank from the Rock, God’s fountain for them that stayed with them wherever they were. And the Rock was Christ. But just experiencing God’s wonder and grace didn’t seem to mean much—most of them were defeated by temptation during the hard times in the desert, and God was not pleased.
THE HAND OF GOD
deserves our bow and humbled thanks
seeing that providence is the faith and believing
before the knowing and the seeing
the other definition that caught my eye
gives light to what faith is like
for providence is the foresight
the seeing afar off
it is prudent anticipation
it is faith
the substance of things hoped for
the evidence of things not seen
prudently…… steps
careful and cautious
watchfully waiting
for HOPE to be seen
in full view
and in that moment
MAGNIFY AND GLORIFY
HONOR AND PRAISE
to the ONE who has watched over
and covered, guided and gave
you all provision through Grace!!
WILL WE CHOOSE TO TRUST THE HAND OF GOD
EVEN WHEN WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND, OR EVEN
WHEN WE DO NOT LIKE OUR CIRCUMSTANCES??
