Have you ever tried dealing with a control freak?

Don’t you feel like you can’t move!? Breathe? Do anything….because they are right there trying to get you to do it their way!!

No freedom.

The feeling of  being shackled .

Being controlling creates an inability to be creative.

It kills inspiration.

Did you know that I am like that?? …and so are you (somewhere in your life)

And possibly in one very important area …..TRUSTING GOD!

The 4th of July is all about FREEDOM.

We have freedom in the Lord….He is not a control freak!

He is the Lover of our souls.

When we don’t allow God to give us what He chooses to give us ( like when we complaining, grumbling, whining or just plain fighting Him) we are saying – I don’t trust You.

Don’t worry you and I are not alone in this issue.

I am not there yet!

My heart/ mind  and mouth don’t always line up with each other.

But seeing it is key….

Lord help me to  be thankful in all things and know that every Good gift comes from You. Help me to remember when I fear and worry, that I have a God who loves me beyond measure and that is the reason that I can trust You. You are not like man who says he loves and does unloving things…

A painting isn’t finished until it’s met it’s last brush stroke…in the mean time while the painter is painting –it may just look like a mess to itself and to others but the painter knows what He has in mind for the canvas.
