6. On June 22, 1997 My husband and I met.

I had just moved to Iowa two weeks earlier from California. I really didn’t know anyone. My sister had moved here and I came to visit for a while. She was pregnant and my niece Shannon would be born in January of the following year. I was a year out of high school and didn’t really know what I was going to do with my life. I was lost and without God. I had not asked Him to be my Savior yet. That day 14 years ago I woke up with a desire to go to church. It was a Sunday so got up and walked to a near by church, I sat in the back. I listen to a man sing a song that drew me into the Father’s presence and there I asked God for mercy. I asked for someone to love me. Later I walked into the presence of a man that the minute I saw him my insides flipped and I knew that I would marry him. A year later I asked the Lord to be my Savior.  Three and a half years later in the cold days of January ….we would marry. Making ever winter warm in the heart.

We thought we lost my sons Puppy yesterday in the fire truck shopping cart at the grocery store.….Oh man for hours he was sad. I was on the verge of tears. So sad for the little lost friend who went everywhere with my son. We backtracked looking for the Puppy. He napped without the Puppy for the first time , he slept 3 1/2 hours because he was sooo sad/mad. All that emotion wore him out.

It was a sad sad evening…

then all of the sudden David found Puppy behind the curtains in the living room.

LOOK MOM LOOK!!! I FOUND PUPPY!!!

Oh the JOY!
