Hello Monday #103

We have had an eventful week:

Dear Son was in an accident. A man ran a stop sign and slammed into the side of his truck he got from his father Christmas of 2024. A little over a year in our family and its toasted.

He turned the corner by our gas station and noticed the police officer a few cars back coming up to the stop sign. He continued on down the road, listening to tunes, and driving to school on a one-way street. He passed the other one way going north and coming up to the other one going south. The cars coming from those two directions have stop signs. A man failed to stop and slammed into him.

He said, I was driving along and I saw a flash out of the corner of my eye, and I looked and time stopped, like life hit pause. I saw the other car was right there. I took my hand of the stick shift covered my head, braced for impact, and BAAAAM!”

The police officer was right there. He had some scraps, bruised, and small cut from glass. The car that hit him so hard it knocked the truck cab off the frame 5 inches. Now we wait on insurance.

Mom and I did a January no spending but groceries and necessities:

On the last day of the month, to celebrate we went to our favorite restaurant for breakfast. Then to the goodwill. I found a cool wooden book end thing that hooked together. It has not organized my roll cabinet and sits on top in such a way that the roll top goes right under it. Whoooo hoooo what a find.

Hey there so much good stuff: Don’t be like the hypocrites.

Prayer for this week:

May the Lord go with you everywhere you go. May He protect you and stop oncoming harm. May the Lord be the One constant for you in this ever-changing world. May the Lord be the Leader of your life to teach you, guide you, and help you in every situation you are in. In Jesus Name Amen.

Thanks for Listening,

Starla
