We have already made it to FEBRUARY! Can you believe it?
Song to share:
Sunday Church Notes and Thoughts:
I wrote a simple prayer, “Lord shows me what need to be shared and stopped?”
We finished up a series called ” Stop Before You Start.” In new seasons, we often focus on what we should do more of, or what’s next. But what if we started this new season with stopping? In our series, Stop Before You Start, we’ll take a deep breath, make space for God, and allow Him to work in our lives.
We brought the worship music to a stripped-down version for the month. Took a slower walk toward finding the incredible power and simple actions of Silence and Solitude. We leaned into Sabbath, in reflective inventory, and lastly the empowering habit of letting go of needing more
In my notes I wrote: What are my “I couldn’t possibly ask someone to help with —–? or I couldn’t possibly burden others with ——–? These tell me a lot about what I am carrying and afraid of.
Something written this week:
The Wonder of His love

Something hard:
I got one of those phone calls from one that you love when the day is hard, so hard that they just don’t want too anymore.
They call us who have made it through before
because we have a steadiness through the trials.
that we have learned.
We have sailed the high seas.
We have made it to dry land again
after drowning in the wildness of yesterday.
But that is not a badge of honor
to promote ourselves, but rather a gift of God,
to become a safe place for another in their anxiety.
A place where those scary and hard thoughts
and feelings can be expressed,
and they in their need and desperation
they too can receive an infusion of love and hope
from His agents of the Kingdom.
Never forget why we are here! To be light on another path.
We are agents of hope, of love, of possibility of a new day.
Movie Quote:
Stop focusing on the darkness. The shadows that hunt us will try to take us down every step of the way. The only thing that has ever overcome the dark is the #light. Wherever the light glows is where hope resides in.
Matthew 4:16 The people living in darkness have seen a great light, on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Light has come! Grace is yours! #Jesus
THANKS FOR LISTENING,
