After reading in day 2 in the chapter of prayer in wonderstruck, we were asked to pray the Lord’s prayer out loud and slowly. When I did I noticed my thoughts reworking them …Here is my take on the Lords prayer …for deeper understanding.

Our Father, Great and Mighty God,

I set apart Your Name as special to me.

Come reign in our lives here, let Your ways be expressed!

In my life as in Christ’s life.

Provide for us, for only You completely quench hunger.

Forgive us for our errant hearts, as we forgive those who err against us.

Lead us in the way of Your light.

Deliver us from the love of darkness.

In Jesus name and Your Power and Glory.

AMEN!
