Yesterday at church I heard these words:

FAITH

we all have a measure

BOLDNESS

stepping up and stepping out

POWER

from on high, given within

WISDOM

to know when to speak & move – all you have to do is ask.

Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people. (Acts 6:8)

A man ( or women in my case ) who is FULL OF GRACE —this is to have wisdom….grace brings favor.

Grace is the fact that GOD gave someone the idea to make washing machines.

AND POWER  –He had God power to talk to these people.

I need power to do laundry!! and dishes and run after a 3 year old. That is in there too!!! ( didn’t you see it  :0P )

PERFORMED GREAT WONDERS AND SIGNS –you have to have some boldness to get out there and do that in front of people. — Wonders??? like laundry is folded and PUT AWAY… not left on the dining room table …anyone else do this??

And don’t forget that you have to have FAITH to do any of this.  ( I CAN DO IT–GOD WILL HELP ME!! )

Our Pastor reminded us that even Jesus couldn’t perform many miracles in his hometown because they simply didn’t have the faith to believe He was who He was.

Is that why there is no help for the weary mom ….aren’t children laundry elves??

We need these WORDS for our lives!!

JAMES 1: 5-6 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.  But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

GET THAT LAUNDRY DONE! Is it done yet?
