Do you see what it is saying???
While she is speaking specifically about how we work and put out our passions, I see this quote and it rocks right down into the personal ins and outs of daily life. How often are we living BLACK AND WHITE tv!!! We go about our days doing what we do. Living life. Not thinking much about our behaviors and attitudes…it is easy to get caught up in what is going on in OUR lives that we don’t really see. Other people are watching us!!! Our children are watching us!!! ARE WE SEEING in COLOR…
Are we living our lives with passion ……..as in: CHRIST LIVES WITHIN ME!!!
She also says it this way : If we are looking at it through just our eyes, we are seeing in a sphere where everything is only black and white. Full color comes when we see through the eyes of others.
What do people see when they see me???
What do I represent to them??
Do I look real, feel real, talk real to them…or am I just black and white TV???
They see me …but do they know and understand me because I am transparent and full of LIFE!!! Does Christ within shine out in that rainbow of colors that expresses who He is in His people…
I am so thankful that He is strong when I am weak…
on those days when anger gets the best of me, when I would rather just tell people what to do then listen to them whine, when I would like to lay down in my sorrows and stay there and never get up…
I pray that I get up and dust off, that I shut up and find compassion, that I hold my tongue and find what’s really going on inside
that I put on Christ and BE in living COLOR!

I’ve been looking around starleeta.wordpress.com and really am impressed by the awesome content here. I work the nightshift at my job and it is boring. Ok….reality check this morning! 🙂 And a nice reminder that my life is not my own. I will be conscious of my actions and attitude today, and try to see myself through other peoples’ eyes……wonder how I’ll feel about what I see…….
