Comfort in you…

I define comfort as self-acceptance. When we finally learn that self-care begins and ends with ourselves, we no longer demand sustenance and happiness from others.

We can’t make other people happy and they can’t make us happy either. We can’t provide constant nourishment to them and they can’t provide constant nourishment to us. All that comes from within.

When we have finally given up looking outside of ourselves for these things then we will come to realize that we are the best providers of it for ourselves….because within us is a store house the size of eternity called THE SPIRIT. It is the place creativity blooms, love resides, joy overflows, kindness abounds, and forgiveness grows.

When we begin to go within we will be on the road to self-acceptance. When we are accepting to ourselves then we will also find we can accept others because they no longer threaten our self – understanding when they seem to be  projecting something different from what we are. The battle of right and wrong diminishes. The need to judge lessens and suddenly we find that we can live at peace with people.

See when we go this road we see ourselves clearly and everyone stops looking so wrong….because really we are all a lot alike. In someway we all are fearful, worried and scared to be ourselves but with self-acceptance we realize we are just NORMAL and then we can GROW!!!

 comfort in you…in me …yeah feels good!:0)
