It’s almost a wrap! 2025 was a tough year. On the external, it was pretty calm looking, but the mental load was heavier than I expected, and the emotional load was up and down.
Highlights of the year:
The sweetness of a man who loves his wife. He got me this silver dipped rose for our anniversary.

My mother moved to town!

We added a new family member to our family:

I have a Senior this year:

My friend moved back to Iowa

My husband built his mother’s cookie train. She’s been gone 2 years and 3 Christmas’s. He worked through it, tears at times, talking out loud, “I’m doing it Ma!” and deep breaths. She had created a book on how to do it with designs and templates so many years ago. It was very cool to watch him share it with the grand girls.

- I had little road trips with my son this year getting his driving license hours in.

Rumblings of 2026
I am keeping things that I started in 2025 and working on 4 areas. I am going to work through each month in certain areas, building upon the month before.
My focus – Growth in Christ – up and to the right!
For January:
- Physical — I will walk more this year
- Economical — No spend January
- Relational — Choose a weekly loving action
- Spiritual – 21 days of prayer and fasting
What is your focus for 2026?
Thanks for Listening,
