Every one of us will face temptation.

We walk in paradox in this world. Our hearts are mixed motive. We were born with a heart that is deceptive. It has the power to tell us anything and we believe it. When we were reborn into the Kingdom we were given the Holy Spirit. There are the two sides. The flesh against the spirit and the Spirit against the flesh. Which is why we must walk consciously aware of what our hearts are loving.

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

1 John 2:16

These are the temptation of our day – things from the world and not our Father.

The lust of the flesh: wrong desires of the heart, sensual pleasure, unchaste desires, gluttony – more food, more distraction, more wants, more…

The lust of the eyes: delight of riches, sinful curiosity, beholding our substance – our gains, possessions, accumulations, and gaining more and more…

The pride of life: vainglory, applause, honor, praise, power.

How does what I do form and inform what I love? 
How does what I want - carry me away?
How does what I need cause me to hide? 

Do we know what time it is? 
We just left the time of walking between the straits
Tammuz - What will we choose?
What will we do?

Walking through temptation that calls us to choose
What will you love the things of the earth 
or the Lord God who is glorious forever more. 

As we choose this is what we will step into AV
and move forward into blessing or a curse 
because of our trust or our unbelief

I’ve been tempted with distractions, loving new ventures, desires for money, desires for praise. But God who is faithful – Has helped me.

Listening through the struggle can be one of the hardest things to do. But we are not left alone. We have the Spirit of God who lives within us.
